Unlike most lawyers practicing in the United States, Blerina was born, raised, and educated in Germany, earning her first law degree from a German University. From there, she received a Master of Laws in French and European Law from a French University before entering the United States and receiving a Master of Laws from Temple University in Philadelphia. Throughout her career, however, her focus has been on representing people with complex criminal and civil issues.

More than a decade ago, before coming to the United States, Blerina focused on international criminal law working at prestigious law firms, governmental entities and international legal organizations worldwide, including the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Since coming to the United States, she has worked in the white-collar criminal department of one the of the most prestigious international firms in New York City. After leaving that firm, she joined Dennis Boyle in his practice, later forming the firm of Boyle &Jasari, LLP. She has represented clients internationally and throughout the United States.

  • Representing people charged with crimes in multiple weeks long trials;
  • Representing investors who have lost money through fraud and violations of securities laws in arbitrations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the American Arbitration Association (AAA), the International Court of Arbitration in Paris, France (ICA), etc.
  • Obtaining sentencing far below federal sentencing guidelines for many clients.

Blerina also serves as an editor for the Transatlantic Law Journal and is a proficient researcher and writer who regularly contributes articles to a variety of legal publications.

Finally, Blerina, who is of Albanian descent, has a strong interest in the Balkan region of Southeastern Europe, particularly Kosovo, Albania, and Serbia.
